There are four types of economic systems in this world: traditional, command, market, and mixed. But, the whole point of, me, mentioning this, in the first place, is because citizens through their state and our federal government ultimately decided on our economic system; we have a “mixed economic system”; some of our economy is market based and the other portion is a command economy, which means the government is involved. So, when you hear critics talking about “socialism or communism” they are not wrong, but they, just, “omit” instead of giving voice to the market-side of our economy. The reason we do not have Laissez-faire capitalism is because too many citizens would be left out, and hurt by a purely market economy. For the most part I am in agreement with the “market-side” economy; my problem is with the “command-side” of our economic system. What Texans do not realize is when we make serious adjustments to the command-side of our economy, we will indirectly strengthen the market economy in such a way that political economist and historians will not be able to fathom, because our state leaders are stuck in the 20th century.
Ha-joon Chang in his book, Economics: The Users Guide 2014 writes, “The fact remains that the state still remains the most powerful organizational technology that humankind has invented and thus big economic, and social changes are very difficult to achieve without it.”, these words echo the, very, reason why I want to be governor of Texas in 2030. I know if Texans are to succeed in the 21st century, we must have a strong “command-side” economy that work and places homeowners, landowners, and buy-in citizens in a foundational position within their communities to “push and pull” citizens forward, using a construct profitable mechanism which will have coexisting benefits for community and the individual, I call this the Economic-Financial Model.
There exists no logical reasoning as to why Texans cannot use their “own” money to invest in adults and children, in their communities, to improve lives and circumstances with state and county guarantees, including incentives; this will ensure all county residents have the ability to “cope and adapt” in financial and life issues. You see, this kind of teaching has to be done “up-close”, not far away with books. I need the experienced citizens, in all 254 counties, to equip and perpetuate a fruitful life for all Texans using compassion, guidance, and grit. I hope every Texan, that has a chance, read my writings gain confidence in themselves and know one day the conditions will be right for each Texan to Challenge the Future, Transform Texas.
